Should organized religion become illegal?

I feel that people should be able to believe in as they wish, and shouldn't have to follow any guidelines. Why can't someone believe in a God without having to be Christian, Muslim, Jew, etc.?

Organized Religion causes nothing but corruption and war. It also causes widespread ignorance and at times when things seem grim, mass hysteria (mass suicide).

What are your opinions? I'm curious to know whether you believe organized religion should be disbanded or not.

Do you think that organized religion should be limited then? And as one of you said, taxed?
Yes, organized religions have done some good in the past. But organized religion is often the cause of war and in many countries around the world, religion has a say in what the country does.
