With religion on its way out... do we run the risk of something worse taking

its place? This question is directed to the people that realize religion is on its way out of course. So you really don't need to bother telling me why your god is great, etc. Thanks.

But what I do wonder at this point is, if sheep are sheep by nature, will something like militant fascism take its place? Is it possible that human nature decrees that some sort of "ocracy" must be in place for some people? I think this is something we may well need to be careful of.
