Has anyone ever noticed how much different religions have in common?

I was raised a couple different ways Catholic and Methodist. I have chosen Methodist of course, because of it's tolerance for different religions. I mean why can't we just except the different ways ppl think? Isn't it possible that there are multiple correct answers? We all believe in God after all, in one name or another.
Most religions anyway help you to become a better person, and keep you helping each other. I am curious to see what everybody has to say about this.
Yes they are both Christian religions, but that is not the point.
