1. Do you think that this video will calm some of the concerns about his religion?
2. If Barak was a Muslim, why would that be a problem? Is the word "Muslim" a slur/dirt word in America?
3. In the middle east, Hussien is has been a very popular and common name for the alst 2000 years. It is our version of Smith, Johnson, Jones, Jackson or Williams. Why do we make UNEDUCATED association between Baraks middle name and Saddam? This is like saying that if your last name is Manson, than you must be related to the SERIAL KILLER CHARLES MANSON.

Can there be clearer evidence of Richard Dawkins's contention that religion, if nothing else, is divisive?

1. No. Those that claim that Senator Obama is a Muslim aren't interested in the truth.

2. "...No religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."[1] And if Obama doesn't let his religion interfere with his job duties, there should be no problem.

The incumbent president of the USA has quite pointedly failed to keep his religion--which no one disputes is Christianity--out of his job. I think the result goes far beyond statements supporting Intelligent Design (as if scientific findings can determined by political opinions) and favoritism with his unconstitutional faith-based initiative. He has--whether knowingly or unknowingly--used faith to direct national policies: faith in Iraqi WMDs, faith that Saddam Hussein was involved with 9/11, faith that Iran is devloping nuclear weapons, and faith that he knows what the hell he's doing.

Unfortunately, many of America's voters think that a person's character or patriotism can be gleaned from their religion. Ironically, the people most likely to feel this was are the ones whose scripture bars them from judging![2]

3.Since Hussein is one of Obama's given names, better analogy would be if your *first* name were Charles, you must secretly have the same mindset as Charles Manson. Even *more* ridiculous, isn't it?

It's a ploy by his political opponents to stop people from voting for him. The people who believe that garbage are uneducated and pretty stupid.
