| Would a person arrested for stoning a women to death have a chance of getting off by using freedom of religion
Let's say he (or she) was a devout Christian, and totally convinced that Deuteronomy 22:21 in the Bible was the supreme authority in matters of unfaithfulness, and that the Bible superseded all the laws of man (as many Christians claim.)
How could (in good conscience) a judge and jury made up entirely of devout Christians convict such a person, knowing in their hearts that he (or she) was simply following their own beliefs, and god's instructions, to the letter. How would they be able to sleep at night?
But if they acquitted, how would they stop the mob from doing them ugly?
