| why do people use religion as an excuse for ignorance?
i was talking to this guy today and he said he's a christian and he goes to church every sunday (rolls eyes) anyway he said that if a child is born very prematurely, there should be no medical intervention, and it is up to God to see to it that the baby lives or dies. he said that the NICU is unnecessary.
unfortunately, this isnt the first time i have had people tell me that prayer is all you need. i cant stand passive praying. i believe god gave us brains and that we should use it.
dont you think this type of thinking is very dangerous in our society? |
