Why is religion even allowed to be involved in politics?

-Abortion
-Stem Cell Research
-Assisted suicide
-Same sex marriage
These are only a few problems religion has caused if you don't agree with something just don't do it. Don't try to run other peoples lives. WHY DO YOU CARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE DO THEY DON'T WANT YOUR HELP THEY CAN MAKE DECISIONS ON THERE OWN. RELIGION HAS NO PLACE IN GOVERNMENT!
