Religion vs spirituality?

I feel i get spiritual enlightenment from rock climbing, no joke. Makes me feel alive, plus it's a little scary. Also it's real to me, whereas god doesn't seem to be. Is this wrong, or a good thing?

Define spiritual enlightenment.

There really is a God in heaven. The question is, are you getting more developed? Are you becoming more united with Christ? Can you hear His voice? Feel and know His Spirit?
