What religion would the west be if Rome had not come to power?

I think a big reason for the spread of Christianity and Catholocism was because Romans started to convert. Also especially people like Constantine.

What do you think would be the major religion of the west if Rome and Catholocism / Christianity had not of spread like it did? Say Rome had not even come to power.
I have to disagree to one of the points. I think if Rome had not of paganized Catholicism like they did then a lot of pagans would not of converted. And where would Christianity be without pagan Rome.
