Can Someone Tell Me Some Things About The Pagan Religion? Christianity, I'm sorry, is just not for me. I know there is a religion for me. Can someone tell me(no bs witch stuff) about the Pagan religion? What they're general beliefs are, how they go about celebrating it. Do they worship nature? Because all the things I've heard on the religion were all in very much agreement with myself. Thanks for any help. Links welcome too.

Pagan in and of itself is not a religion, but is the title that encompasses many spiritual systems/religious paths, such as Wicca, Asatru, Druid, Shamanism...just to name a few. Perhaps you could take the "What's your spiritual type?" quiz at Beliefnet. Based on your answers to some questions about your personal beliefs, the results will tell you which religion(s) best fit you, and you could start focusing some reseach there.

answer: Paganism isn't the religion - it's the umbrella term for pagan paths. Any religion outside of Christianity, Judaism and Islam is, technically, pagan. Best bet - start wide and narrow down. The Religious Tolerance link is a good one. You can also do a Wiki search on paganism, pagan beliefs, and then narrow down some of the beliefs that sound interesting. Also look up Reconstruction pagan paths: Celtic, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Heathenism, Baltic, etc. I know, it sounds vague. Check out some of the pantheons at : http://www.godchecker.com/ and see if any seem to call to you. Most are drawn either to Heathenism, Greek, Roman, Celtic, Anglo-Saxon or Egyptian here in the States. Hope that helps
