If you thought your religion was veering off-course, would you speak out?

Have you ever felt uncomfortable with certain changes/developments within your religion, or in its teachings, elements that did not seem to be there when you chose to follow?

Would it be difficult to express a displeasure, or a concern, to other followers? Although you are trying to prevent harm to your faith, people might say you are denying it altogether.

Tough spot.
