what made you turn away from your religion?

i'm just curious...what makes some people who once very much belived in a religion and God and what not what it was that made them stop believing.
thanks for being nice! i gave you all thumbs up lol!
i'm not religions i don't go to church and i believe a that a spiritual relationship with god is more important then religion.
