| Categories on Yahoo. Why do Atheist hang out in Religion/Spirituality...? Why do atheists hang out in Relgion /Spirituality if they don't believe in anything? Wouldn't they want to be with the same kinds of people, talking about what they talk about... Or... what? FYI: I am not suggesting that the Atheists aren't welcome to use a public forum... that isn't my reasoning. I am saying... that if a group doesn't believe certain things, then what is the point in hanging out in a forum that is contrary to their own belief system. Example: I have no reason to hang out in the Sports categories, I don't play sports or watch them on TV. My participation and watching sports... or lack there of...I can't add anything to the coversation. NOW... I can learn something... but I don't even know the questions to ask there. ALSO I just don't have a reason to ask. SO... Why do Atheists hang out in a public forum, intended for Religious and Spiritual conversations if the don't believe in this kind of thing?      |
