...world, and key athesit figures? Could you see this ever happening? And if you're a believer, what would your views be if the leaders rejected participation? (which would be like dropping faith in 'god')

Also, if the leaders of other religions in effect crumbled at the questions posed to them, and were ignorant in listening to answers atheists gave to questions they were asked, what would your view be then?
it was meant to say atheist not 'athesit'
But the fact is, it would be religion against none religion and would have to therefore be based on logic as opposed to writings etc as different religions have wrote different things down to support their religion.

However, i would agree that a debate of this kind would spark mass controversy and end in religious leaders bailing incase they are made mockeries of, which shouldn't happen if they believe in god enough.
