Why do you care about other peoples religion?

I know this is not everyone but, I always see questions on here that look down on other peoples religion, why? Why can't you just accept that you all basically believe similar beliefs but with a few different details? Do you think by bashing others it makes you better?
I just don't see how it is fun to have huge arguments (and even wars) over such trivial matters.
