Why are some religions full of hate for other religions?

Why are some religions full of hate for other religions?

I read in the Paper - In England the Church was surrounded by Mosques, but the people attending the mosque would park in the Christian church driveway and harass the Christians. A Canon got attacked by Asian religious fanatics in his Church Garden! In the Hospital Chaplain's Multi-faith room where there were different religious books on the table the Muslims would throw the Bibles in the Bin! Because they are 'unclean'! Can you imagine what would happen if a Christian did the same things, they would get seriously done for religious hatred and racism! Is this the English people's Karma? Even in the Salvation Army Hostel where some live they are replacing the Christian literature with their own. Whats going on?

I am not a Christian but I know many and they wouldnt do such a thing!
