What does spirituality mean to you?

Please discuss what the word means to you, not what a dictionary tells you. I am having difficulty imagining what people mean with such statements as "I'm not a believer; I'm not religious, but I'm still spiritual."

Is "spiritual" a description of what a person believes? Is it a description of what they practice? Or is it a description of something intrinsic to their physicality, for example a quality to the brain that might make one more susceptible to certain feelings while deep in meditation -- something that could be measured with a brain scan?

Well spiritual can mean you believe in God, but don't go to church. Or you believe in angels and life after death, but don't practice a religion. You can believe in spirits, but not that you'll be condemned to hell for being a sinner. Spirituality has nothing to do with religion and biblical rules.

God is the maker and ruler of everything. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end, the source. God is at the center of man. He will guide us into all truth. We can't define God or any of the real values of life, but we can experience them, with spirituality. He is the way of life that we were created to live. With him life has meaning, without him men exist in a meaningless discord.

spirituality is how God sees us . God cannot see us as we see one another . God only sees the energy of us .this is done when you pray ; meditate ; sleep . when you reach REM you are in the peak of awareness . and your greatest thoughts are lifted up to God and he sees that . you do not pray holding hands with a group of people . this is called square dancing .you do not fallow someone else's prayer this is called mocking . to be a spirit is to have that energy strong enough for God to see . this is something they dont teach you in fairytails

The word appears in the bible, without much supporting detail. So it is hard for anyone to really know what it means.
