Are White people genetically predisposed away from religion?

This is not a racist question and I'm not trying to stir up the pot here. What I'm interested in is why White people throughout the world don't shown any great affinity to religion the way other cultural groups in the world do.

Even if you consider a religion with traditionally high-rates of observance like Islam, the more White an Islamic country happens to be, the more rock-bottom are their rates of religious observance (e.g. Iran, Albania, Turkey, etc.).

Which begs the question: Are White people genetically predisposed away from religion?

So what are you suggesting? That White people are more educated than colored people? Are you a racist?

Wow! So you're suggesting now that White people and Japanese people have higher IQs than (say) Black or Brown people? Wow! I had no clue that this many atheists were closet-racists!

But you just said that IQ and atheism were correlated and that Whites and Japanese had more atheism than the rest of the world (which is presumably attributable to their high IQ).

I find this whole "We're more intelligent and that's why we[whites] are atheist" assertions from the atheists profoundly disturbing.

Sorry. I'm never disturbed by "the truth". What I'm disturbed by is the unmistakeable overtones in all of the posts here subtly implying that: "We[White people] are atheist because we're smarter".

Oh give me a break. Yes, if Dick Cheney, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton can be considered as "Christians", then the US is a predominantly "Christian nation". Go fool someone else.
