How do I get a couple to move out of a house that they are renting so

that I can move in.? I was about to rent a house, but the landlord couldn't hold it until a certain date for me. Now there is a couple who just rented it, but I dont know if they are just looking for short term rent or long term. I really want to live in this house and need to find away to secure it for when Im able to move in. If that means doing something to get them to move out, or even cutting them some kind of deal. Either way I need this place. What would you guys do to,

Please any options are better then no options.

Thank you.

To start with, the current rental agreement is between those folks and the landlord. You're not a part of that.

You might speak to the couple to see if they are willing to disclose their plans for tenancy. They are under no obligation to give you any sort of response other than "Get lost".

If they are open to possibly moving elsewhere, you will probably have to throw money at them to convince them to terminate early, allowing you to move in. A MINIMUM amount would be any moving expenses they incur, including telephone and cable charges. You might also offer a couple of months' worth of rent to further entice them to move.

Meanwhile, you need to insure that YOU will be granted tenancy if they agree to leave. Be certain that any agreements you may make with this couple are contingent upon the landlord granting the tenancy to you.

Make a phony phone call to them, "you have to leave because where u live isn't safe. there are termites in the walls and rats in the attic and the basement."
