They shouldn't mix, but humans being what they are, they do. All's we can hope for is to educate and motivate as many folks otherwise as possible.

Yes. Religion and politics should mix.
People try to squeeze the religion of many into politics though, and there is one place they almost always forget to stop at and visit first.

The heart. Your human heart.

Try it. Even when your not praying in the all black or all white temple. Try it even when you're not praying at all.
Your heart. It's a good place to visit again and again.

What you find there will not always be easy.
But it will certainly always be worth it. I can almost promise you it will.
