Politics, what is the real deal about being a republican?

I might be a republican now I'm thinking. Basically I think that dumb people are having way too many children, and I don't really want to have to pay for all of that years from now. Could this be the main reason that I, am now a republican? I think everyone who is alive should have healthcare, lets fix this. But what about those children being born X10 by idiots, - no.
No matter what, EVERYONE should have healthcare, just because someone is poor, doesn't mean they're necessarily unintelligent, possibly having a good future.
What am I, a democrat? or republican? I already decided not to vote anyway.
P.S. we all know either that O'Bama or Clinton will not win the election anyway.. not a chance. just give up. jeeze

First of all, if you have to ask a bunch of strangers what you "are", I would venture a guess that you don't know enough about either party to belong.

Please, please tell me you are not getting all of your political info from Yahoo Answers. For every good, well-thought out argument, there are at least 10 partially incoherent rants. You shouldn't use this as more than a jumping off point. Yikes!
