Why do republicans seem so strong on here but in real life they don't know crap...

...about politics? I live in Alabama, the king of Republicans, and I ask around and they don't know crap about politics... Why is it that the republicans on here seem so sure of themselves but the ones I know seem to be a little unsure in the politics department....? I talk to a lot of republicans and the only thing they know is that their voting for McCain, but they don't know anything about his politics... Why is this?

They are voting for party issues which McCain will follow. You can't say you know that much about the democrats, Hillary can give a straight answer and Obama avoid all questions that are difficult.

No offense, but when you become a Republican, general thinking and common sense tends to go out the window.

You vote Republican because you are being TOLD to vote Republican and there is no independent thought.

That's why GOP voters don't know **** about politics outside a Yahoo! message or forum board: The real world tends to confuse them massively.

REPUBLICANS HAVE WON 7 OF THE LAST 10 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS...

Do they teach history in your school?

Everyone knows about McCain's politics: 1. lower income taxes; 2. lower government spending (no earmarks); 3. strong military; and 4. strict constructionist judicial appointments. That's how you win a nationwide election because that's where the majority of Americans are on the main issues.
