The municipal council of a large city is considering banning cars and trucks, except for emergency vehicles, from the one-square kilometre downtown area. Traffic is congested during rush hour, and in summer, pollution can reach dangerous levels. However, many commuters feel that they need their cars to get to work, and some downtown store owners worry about losing their businessif people can't get to their stores by car.The people listed below are part of a commitee making recomendations regarding the proposed ban. Choose a role and write a paragraph. Make sure that it is informative and convincing so that you can defend your role properly. Yes, I agree you should try to write this one yourself. Here's some hints to state each caseowntown resident with respiratory disease - should he move to a better climate instead to save his health rather than fight the bureaucracy? Surburban commuter - He may just have to find a way to shuttle to the public transportation like many do everyday. This is a slight inconvenience.
