What disease(s) affect both the Respiratory System and the Nervous System?

I am trying to answer a couple of questions for my A+P class...I am looking for any disease that affects both the respiratory system and the nervous system.

SLE otherwise known as lupus is a good answer. Additionally, you may think of chronic wasting and progressive neurological disorders i.e. ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) or Lou Gehrigs disease et al. As well, HIV infection can have serious (if not fatal) pulmonary and neurologic sequelae. I am sure there are others.
