How can I partner with a famous designer?

I have some patenable ideas/designs on making some childrens clothing.... how do I partner with a famous designer and have a company put there logo and brand on it. I know how hard it is with starting your own brand....so I want an established company to help and to give me royalties off of the sales. I don't know quite how the business works.... but I would like to sell to a big box retailer (like Walmart, Target, or Kohl's) I dought that those large corporations would order a no name brand. But if I could partner with a lets say Amy Coe....or someone like that it would be much easier. Any advise would be helpful. I just want a company to take me seriously...I have proto types made....so its not just an idea but its real.
