Question about royalties within the music business?

this is ALL hypothetically speaking

I release an album, through a major label. It is a hot album at the time, but ten years later barely anyone buys it. If ONE person buys the album ten years later, do i still get money from that one album bought?
this has nothign to do with me obviously, im just wondering about people who released an album 15 years ago, if they still make money off that album or not
