cal_beach_gal08 has a spectacular aura about
bisque fired sculpture???

I have created a fantastic dragon sculpture, and was wondering of i could apply a wax or oil directly to the bisque fired piece to sorta glaze without really glazing. just like a burnish i guess??
does this work/can i do it?
and if so, what type of oil/wax?

i just wanted to know because i want to try something other than a traditional glaze, and the whole oil bit is fascinating.
