Have you been to many Weddings that have ice sculptures?

The reason I'm asking is I'm having a castle (My theme is Cinderella) and I've never been to a Wedding with one. I think it adds an elegance. Opinions?

What is "frivolous" to some...isn't to others! You day should be done the way that you decide.
Bic--obviously you're unaware that Cinderella--means it's a Fairytale themed wedding w/ subtle touches & elegance. It's all about reflecting class first & foremost to me.
I find that chocolate fountains are done too often-- so I opted for a Candy Buffet instead.

I went to a wedding once done in a castle. They had like 5 ice sculptures. It looked awesome. I think if they should have put only one big sculpture it would have looked better.

I've been to many weddings during my lifetime and only saw one ice sculpture. But it sounds like it would fit in with the elegance of your theme. If you can afford it, buy it.

I think they should be used like pinatas to make crushed ice, fun for the whole family. It's not like you get to keep the puddle.

I think this ice sculpture DOES portray you and this is something you've wanted forever! I love it, I would've had one if I could have pulled off the extra money but I couldn't

Not one wedding.
I think the sculpture is cool but a waste of money. I would take the money you are spending on that and other frivolous things and use it on the honeymoon, bigger ring, house, hell the way things are going gas money to get to the wedding. HA!

My Uncle's wedding has an ice sculpture in the shape of a swan, and there was a clam shaped ice sculpture at the rehearsal dinner. Very nice My prom also had an ice sculpture in the shape of an Eiffel Tower. And I think ice sculptures add a sense of elegance and sophistication to any event!

I think it will be pretty, put some lights around the base somehow and it would be really sweet.

I am thinking of having one as well. (not a castle but an ice sculpture)
