I need creative ideas for a project..mixed media, movie, sculpture, painting..?

Its one of those enormous projects you can choose to do, its only for extra credit though and will be put in the art show in the end of the year.
on any of the subjects we do in class....
so far (since i transferred not too long ago) we've done three units
much ado about nothing- shakespeare
poetry unit
speech unit
writing unit/creative writing
later well be doing
hotzone unit
othello.....and others
or i can do a project on my own "independent reading"
if i were to do the independent thing...what book would you suggest?
