What are some good materials for my sculptures.?

i have an upcoming sculpture project fro my 3-d class. the assignment is to find either one or more regular objects or materials and create sculpture out of it...it's not a trash sculpture but the whole point is to disguise the object so someone could say "what is that made of" get it? for example people are using wax soap foam....i dont want to copy them

We did that in our art class, and each group(we did it in groups) was given an old chair. We had to use EVERYTHING on the chair, down to the last bolt and thread of cushion. it was really fun!
