NO~!!!
IT IS NOT~!!!

Social Security Disability is insurance that you have paid into from each and every paycheck that you have ever earned~!!!

after qualification from disability Doctors, the Administrative Law Judge, and after hearings and examinations of your medical reports, Vocational Rehabilitation Experts, plus at least two denials and appeals and at least two years or longer of going through the due process you eventually might become approved~!!!

in which you will only be paid two years of back pay~!!!

they compute your lowest wages with your highest wages and then some other mysterious calculations and come up with you entitlement and will send you an award letter~!!!

SSI, is for low income people, it is welfare, and you may be able to qualify for temporary SSI benefits while you are waiting to get approved for regular Social Security Benefits, but their are strict income and asset reqirements, plus you may be able to qualify for food satamps and other low income benefits~!!!

but they are not the same~!!!

Social Security Disability benefits you are still able to work and recieve an income up to a certain amount before they start deducting benefits dollar for dollar~!!!

contact your local Social Security Office for more info, and get yourself hooked up with a case-worker~!!!

and they dont just give it to ya just because you ask for it, you better be able to back your claims~!!!!
