| Upgrade to complete security system on new home?
We are planning on getting a monitoring service for our new home. However, the builder has a $260 complete security system upgrade (prewire is standard on the home). I'm just worried about compatibility. I looked at the usual services (Brinks and ADT). Seems like Brinks is more compatible, whereas ADT is not compatible. Brinks has a basic install (3 windows or doors), but of course more windows and doors = more cost. Is $260 a good price for a complete set up (assuming all windows and doors are covered), or will I save more letting, say Brinks, do the install?
