My husband joined the USAF security force.. i have a few questions?

my husband leaves soon for B.M.T and tech school. he leaves in april. so i am wondering when he is done with tech school and stuff how long until i can live with him on base? another is i'd like to join myself.. me and him likes to travel.. and i understand the deployment and frequent separation. but does military marriages acually work out. would we be on the same bases? and what is the base life like anyways? im pretty clueless really.. im 18 and my husband is 21. would i even see him much anyways with him workin as security force? a few answers would be helpful? thanks
