Social Security Issues..??

A family member of mine recently went to get a replacement social security card. She found out that years ago when her father went to replace her card when she was 15 the person who did it entered it in as she was born that year which was 75. Since 1975 S.S has been acknowledging her as well being born in 1975. All this time she has been working. It was recently corrected to her correct birthday and whatnot but the issue is later on down the line will her benefits when she get's older be effected by this and is their legal action that can be taken?
She already corrected this issue and she had to do a million things..go to a congressman's office, get all her medical records, high school yearbook and transcripts to even fix the birthdate social security had on file.

Ii really doubt what age you put down when applying for a social security card is a big issue. As long as she has a birth certificate, she can show that to Social Security to show when she was born.

This is exactly why having the Federal Government set up a bureaucracy to control anything is a bad idea.
