Security Error: Domain Name Mismatch- Yahoo Mail- can't access mail?

Security Error: Domain Name Mismatch- Yahoo Mail- can't access mail?

I cannot access my mail account on this computer with following message:
Security Error: Domain Name Mismatch. You have attempted to establish a connection with "mail.yahoo.com." However, the security certificate belongs to "login.yahoo.com." ...

Even when logged in to My Yahoo, clicking Mail sends it into a circular search to nowhere.

How can I fix this issue? Please be specific for how/where etc., as I am not an expert in this area. Other postings did not help me figure what to do.
