| Is it possible to obtain a securities license with a criminal history?
I am currently 24 and was arrested at 19. I have 2 felonies that are deferred adjudicated and was convicted of a misdemeanor handgun charge. The felonies were possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver. It is a horrible reflection of who I am today. I have had no violations since then and have dozens for respectable references. I understand it will be difficult, but will it even be possible to obtain a series 7 or 63? If so, what are some things to be working on in the meantime?
