| How does the Social Security crisis work?
I'm not so great with this kind of stuff, so bear with me. I thought with Social Security, you paid a certain portion of your salary, the government kept it, and then when you retired the government paid it back to you certain amounts at a time. So, uh, why isn't there enough money? Doesn't everyone just get back what they put in? Thanks for the help; I know this is important so I want to understand it! |
