| Do you need a security liscense to be an armed guard on PRIVATE PROPERTY in Ohio? Do you have to have a liscense to hire an armed guard to work on private property in Ohio, such as a church/school? Also, is insurance an issue? This is NOT a contractor, it is just one person, no security company but very VERY impressive credentials and the owner of this building hired him. Does he (or the building owner) have to have a security liscense for one person? They don't want any other guards, only him, and this is only one site. Could I get an answer to my ORIGIONAL question please? Does he or the owner need a security liscense or not? He already has a homeland security certificate from his last job as a security guard.      |
