Nobles.The 132nd Imperial Session is over. Egypt Shriners welcomes our new leader, Imperial Sir Nicholas "Nick" Thomas and First Lady Elaine. Tampa really turned out for this great event and Egypt Shriners and our Ladies really shined! From the Ambassadors and Noble Joe Osborne's pick-up team at the Airport to Ill Sir John Massey orchestrating all the events for Imperial and Egypt Shrine, we had a great week of friendship and brotherly love. The FSA events lead by Ill Sir Merrill King and competition for FSA and International were at their best. A Tip of the FEZ to all who participated and congratulations to all the award winners. The Imperial Parade down Bayshore was the best with many spectators observing the Fun of Shrinedom. I think the week can be summed up by a note I received from a Noble from Ocala Shrine Club, Morocco Shriners, "Brad, please share with your unit that Ocala had a wonderful time at the Temple, Motor Corp room and the FASMC/Motor Corps hospitality room. I always enjoy being with you all. Thanks for always keeping us in the loop. Ill Sir Merrill King did a great job on Casino Night. Thank your Potentate, Ill Sir Jimmy O'Dell for having a great host at the hospitality room (Bobby). I know I'll forget a lot of Nobles, but regards to Shane, Homer. Marky, Jerry, Danny, Scott, and of course Ill Sir Red, all the ladies of the Motor Corps and Colen Franceschini, and Jim Rocha from the Pharaohs.."

Nobles, There is a new book with many Masonic references and nuances that I have had the pleasure to read. It is "There Are Masons In The Hills," by Ron Brimner. It is a collection of short stories from the hills of Appalachia. This book has had three book reviews on Amazon.com and on a one to five gold star rating system all three gave it five gold stars with some very favorable remarks. You can view and/or buy this book by logging onto Authorhouse.com and typing in the author's name or the book title. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
