One of the principal Community Charities supported by SCCSC is the "Frank E. Lowe Children's Charity Fund" operated by DeSoto Lodge Brothers. Major recipients of the Fund are the Cypress Creek Elementary School Children, who have needs not always met by their migrant parents, under the auspices of the Teachers. Tickets for the BBQ are available from SCCSC members, or Brothers of the DeSoto Lodge, or at the door. This event is open to the general public. Director's Staff 42nd Annual Corn Boil, Sunday June 4, 2006 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM at the Egypt Shrine Activities Building 4050 Dana Shores Drive, Tampa. BBQ Chicken, Corn on the Cob, Salad, Baked Beans, Ice Tea, Coffee, Camel's Milk and Live Music for your Dining and Dancing Pleasure. All of this for $10.00 per person.

Flag Day Program at the Tampa Scottish Rite Masonic Center, Wednesday, June 14, 2006. Flag waving in front of the Scottish Rite Center starting at 4:15 PM. The Flag waving will again be led by the Bayshore Patriots, Lutz Patriots, members of all the Masonic Bodies, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fran Reiter who is serving as Mom's to over 2000 soldiers who are fighting for our freedom, she is assisted in this labor of love by her daughter, Denise Reiter, Cyd Deathe, (Tampa Area Marine Parents Association) and many other organizations. Brother's Dale McClellan, 32º, Oscar Weeks, 32º and Brother Frank Lowe will be preparing the barbeque again this year. I want to thank you in advance for the help that you give the Flag Day Committee in making sure that we have a very successful day in showing our fellow Americans that the Tampa Scottish Rite, the Tampa Bay Community, and the other Masonic Bodies love America and the Flag of the United States.

At the Flag Day program last year we had over 1200 patriotic Americans who came to wave the American Flags in front of our facility. In addition, we served 950 barbeque dinners to our guests.

This year we are planning on serving 1000 barbeque dinners and having 1300 patriotic Americans to wave the Flags out front. During our patriotic program we will have the following individuals and group to entertain us during our Flag Day presentation:

Scottish Rite prior to the Flag Day program that starts at 7:00 PM. Ms.
