While I like the overall idea of a "gut instinct" guiding me, I think anyone should be careful here. A good example is my uncle. He often uses his gut instinct, but because he is generally a racist and homophobic nut, his instinct is steeped in ignorance and turns away anyone uncomfortable.While that's an extreme example, it illustrates my point: you have to be sure it is really a gut instinct and not a personal bias or dislike about something. In the end, we aren't so easily separated from ourselves. If you can be sure it is your gut after you've asked yourself that, then sure... maybe it's an innate survival thing.

Always go with ur gut feeling. It's always riight.Just be sure it's not your mind convincing your gut....This one time a couple of months ago I heard about a drawing to win a thousand dollars a but I had to go to this cemonar which was about 2 hours long.So I really had no interest in this cemonair att all, but I had this really good feeling that I was gonna win the thousand dollars, like reallyy good feeling. I even told my friends and family. so I went anyways.When I got there, [thinkin it was only gonna be like 50-100 people] it ended up being this HUGE thing [about ehh 1,000-2,000 people] After seein how many people were their, the gut feelin went away. And i thought I had no chance at alll...Then like 10 mins before they picked the winner, I got the same good gut feelin again, and I knew that I was gonna win....and I did.so morall of the story is...Alwayss go with ur gut feelin. And try to keep ur mind out of it :P
