Get out of double dating?

Me and my best friend went out with these two guys from another school. After two dates, my friend went on her own with her guy, and now they are together. Now whenever we double date its kinda awkward because my best friend makes out with her bf. My friend and his friend are trying to get us out of double dating because they say we need the one on one time together. How should me and the guy I like get away from the double dates, and go on single dates?

Tell your best friend how you feel and...or tell her you already have plans with who so ever...she should understand you need you alone time just like they do.

You and the guy both want to get away from the double dates? The answer seems pretty simple. Just go on a single date. If that's what you both want, I don't understand what the problem is.
