Online dating - is it okay to send her an E-Card?

I've recently been chatting to a girl online. We've been exchanging emails for a fortnight, and are planning on meeting soon. I want to send her an E-Card, just to let her know that I'm thinking of her. Is it too soon, or would she appreciate it? Also, any tips for our 'date' next week? Its my first date with a woman, and my first date with anyone in many years. Thanks.
