9 days til due date and still....?

Havent got my cervix checked?? Then I got an appointment scheduled two days after my EDD... how am i supposed to know anything if i dont go over my due date? the doc said i should of reminded the nurse... WTF?! and that hell check me next time around? im just wanting to know whats going on.. he need check the babys position adn said he is low then he checked again and said wow he is very low and is a good 7-7 1/2 lbs. good heartbeat blah blah blah... but still asked me to come back to get checked... anyone else not get checked? my mom had her first four kids all on her EDD and my sister had her son on her EDD but her daughter was schedule c section... what do i look out for? i have been having lots Braxton hicks not painful though looser bowel movement (tmi sorry) small bursts of energy then fatigue... i know not everyones water breaks but is that the only other thing i can look out for? ughhhhh im so frustrated!
