How do I find a date to prom?

I'm a junior and also black and I go to sorta mixed school. Almost all of my friends are white and so far at least 5 of them have rejected me for prom. I think they would be more open minded toward the race part if we weren't in the south. I'm really miserable right now and I don't want to go to prom alone, what should I do?
