Would you ever use an online dating service, like match or chemistry?

I think it might be a little on the desperate side to even consider..or sad...I'm not sure but the idea of meeting people scientifically proven to get along with me seems better than all these crazy dates I've been going on... I still have reservations tho. Opinions?
