| Over-washing vs Over-moisturing/conditioning skin and hair? I know that if you use super-astringent products on your skin and hair (e.g. too much pimple cream, shampoo for oily hair) you wind up producing huge amounts of grease to compensate. I was just wondering, does it work both ways? To what extent, can a good amount of moisturiser calm your skin into.. um.. "thinking" all's well and excess oil production is unecessary? Can you over-condition your hair? I've just started using conditioner again, and my hair is looking better for it, despite some oil near my part/fringe, but is it possible for my hair adjust and possibly become drier? I hope this question made sense! :S |
