Skins In Counter Strike Condition Zero?

I've been playing CS for a while now but only now have I noticed some people have skins. I was wondering how do they do this. can someone give me a link and will it affect my VAC status?
How do you install the player skins for CZ only? Thanks!

No, it won´t affect yout vac status, and it is great, you can change the appearance of weapons and players.

You can use 1.6 or cz skins for either game; they are equally compatible.

Guide taken from fpsbanana:

1.) Find a good website! FPSB:-)

2.) Download a skin you want.

3.) Unzip the files... might need WinRAR for it

4.) if it has a read me, read it to find where the files go Generally it will be (wav in sound\weapons) and (mdl in models)

5.) Now go to the Models and Sound folders and make sure they are there... sometimes, they will go in has

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\"yourname"\condition zero\czero\models\cstrike\model\thefile...

You have to cut the files out and paste them into the models folder itself. (you can delete the cstrike folder after)

What this means is after you upzip the files to the right places they don't always unzip just the files... you need to go into these two folders...

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\"yourname"\condition zero\czero\models
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\"yourname"\condition zero\czero\sounds\weapons

And look for a folder called "cstrike" You then go into that folder, cut the files out, and paste them into the models folder itself (like they were suppose too when you unzipped). Same for the sounds, but in the "weapons" folder...

NOTE: pistols with a shield tag on the file must go into this folder

You must add a new folder called "shields". I have had bad luck with this because every pistol makes it left handed (Pistol in the left hand, shield in the right).
