| Was Michael Moore partially correct on the cause of violence in society?
Moore said that the military-industrial complex is part of the cause of America's violence.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower said the military-industrial complex was a very dangerous threat to America. Michael Moore, who I typically disagree with, even made a valid point in his movie, Bowling for Columbine.
In Bowling for Columbine, Moore said that the government is not helping the problem as they denounce violence, but use it all the time. It is a fact that on the day that the Columbine Massacre occurred, the US and NATO dropped more bombs on Kosovo than any other day. Most of the people living in the Columbine area were working at Lockheed Martin, a military contractor.
Americans are surrounded by guns and violence in the media and in real life all the time. Politicians have done a good job in using their scare tactics against Americans, like when they say that it is necessary to give up some of your freedom for national security, or something of the sort.
