What is the difference between anthropology and sociology?

I mean They sound pretty much the same...Help?

I mean I was reading this assignment and it's about a shooting in montreal a while ago and it says For

Anthropologist would ask:Why do some men act violently twords women?

and a sociologist would ask:What common factors are there in the lives of men who have acted with extreme violence towards women?

I mean they sound pretty much the same.

Anthropology is the study of humanities and sociology is the scientific study of society including relationships, interaction and culture.
